His long\u2011term commitment to the city was reaffirmed when he signed a five\u2011year, $74 million contract extension with the Dodgers<\/strong> on November 29, 2024<\/strong>. The deal includes a $17 million signing bonus<\/strong>, replaces his previous contract, and keeps him with the team through 2029<\/strong>, with a 2030 club option<\/strong>.
