Fueling the Ride: Chargel Joins Forces with L.A. Critical Mass

A partnership built on movement and momentum. Chargel fuels active lifestyles with clean energy; Los Angeles Critical Mass fuels the largest bicycle ride in the nation—a cultural shift toward safer streets, community care, and collective power. Together, we energize riders with purpose.

No Crash, All Drive: A Sponsorship That Fuels Purpose and Pedals Progress

Los Angeles Critical Mass is thrilled to announce a new sponsorship with Chargel, the non-caffeinated energy gel brand designed to fuel movement with clean, crash-free momentum. This partnership brings Chargel’s innovative hydration straight to the streets of L.A., supporting our riders as we reclaim public space and ride for community, culture, and change.

Chargel will be providing their signature energy gel drinks to power our 20+ mile routes. In return, L.A. Critical Mass will spotlight Chargel across our rides, social media, and community outreach—amplifying a brand that shares our passion for wellness, movement, and bold impact.

“Chargel isn’t just fueling our riders—it’s fueling our movement,” said Lisa, President of Los Angeles Critical Mass. “This partnership is about more than product. It’s about shared momentum, clean energy, and community care. Chargel’s gel drinks are a perfect fit for our long rides and bold vision. We’re proud to ride together.”

“Los Angeles Critical Mass is a force of movement, and we’re honored to ride alongside it,” said Leah D. from Chargel. “This partnership is about fueling more than just miles—it’s about energizing community, amplifying purpose, and supporting riders with clean, crash-free momentum. We’re proud to be part of the journey.”

At the beginning of the ride and break times, select riders will receive Chargel samples to fuel their journey—no caffeine, no crash, just clean energy and collective drive. It’s a chance to power up with purpose and ride in solidarity with the largest cycling movement in the nation.
