Parking Made Easy: Options for LA Critical Mass Participants

Free Parking

Effortless Parking for the Largest Community Bike Ride in the U.S.: Discover Nearby Options Beyond the Meeting Point

We recommend parking on the west side of Western Avenue, between 4th and 5th Streets, and between Manhattan Place and Irving Boulevard in Hancock Park. Please view the map above. These public streets offer free parking and are located in safe neighborhoods with active neighborhood watch programs. Since LA Critical Mass is a monthly event, it will not be a nuisance to local residents. There is ALWAYS plenty of parking in these areas. It’s a five to ten minute ride from these areas to the meet up spot. This depends how fast you ride. Park and ride your bikes to the LACM HQ.

Paid Parking

You do also have the option to park in the area where the meet up spot is. You will have to pay. Please keep in mind though that the city of Los Angeles loves to give parking tickets. So if your parking meter expires and it’s before 8:00 PM, Good luck.

DO NOT PARK IN THE CVS PARKING LOT THAT’S NEXT TO THE MEET UP SPOT! NEVER PARK YOUR VEHICLE IN THIS PARKING LOT FOR THE L.A. CRITICAL MASS RIDE. THEY LOVE TO TOW! THEY WATCH THEIR PARKING LOT EVERY LAST FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH. Time after time we tell people do not park here but some still try to take that chance. No one ever wins. They come back after the ride and their vehicle is gone. Please save yourself from the heartache and the drama from your vehicle being towed.

Ralphs Parking

You can park in the Ralphs parking garage. They charge $10 a car. Ralphs is on Western behind the Wilton theatre. If there is huge crowd at the Wilton theatre the night of LACM, then parking my not be an option because the Wilton theatre parks there to.

Public Transportation

You do have the option in taking public transportation. Our HQ sits on the Metro D-Line and is the main hub for public transportation for this part of Los Angeles. Click here to see the Metro D line schedule.

Plan your route ride here for all buses. Click here.

Keep in mind that we have thousands of participants joining us, so always plan to arrive early. Everyone else will be doing the same! With Los Angeles Critical Mass being such a large event, it’s important to plan accordingly.
