Last month’s ride set the tone for an incredible summer as thousands of participants joined us for a 28-mile journey from Koreatown to Santa Monica and back. This month, we raised the bar even higher, taking riders along a historic and scenic route that showcased the beauty and cultural richness of Los Angeles.

A Summer Ride to Remember
Starting at our headquarters in Koreatown, located at the corner of Western Avenue and the iconic Wilshire Boulevard, the ride kicked off with palpable excitement. The route took participants through some of LA’s most glamorous and historic neighborhoods, including Hancock Park, Miracle Mile, Fairfax, and Beverly Hills, before culminating at the breathtaking Santa Monica coastline.

The July 2025 ride offered cyclists and participants a unique opportunity to explore Los Angeles in a way few get to experience.
- Hancock Park:
Riders passed through Hancock Park, known for its majestic older-style mansions and tree-lined streets. The neighborhood’s charm provided a picturesque start to the journey. - Miracle Mile:
The historic Miracle Mile showcased landmarks like the La Brea Tar Pits and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). Riders got a glimpse of the near-completion of the Metro D Line extension at Wilshire and La Brea, a project that promises to transform public transportation in the area. - Fairfax District and Beverly Hills:
As we continued westward, the ride took us through the Fairfax District and into Beverly Hills. Beverly Hills Police Department assisted in ensuring a smooth transition onto Santa Monica Boulevard, where the energy of the group soared. - Santa Monica Boulevard to Downtown Santa Monica:
Riding along Santa Monica Boulevard was a thrilling experience as thousands of cyclists and inline skaters pedaled together, creating an awe-inspiring visual display of unity. The route led straight to downtown Santa Monica, where participants turned onto Lincoln Boulevard and Arizona Avenue, passing through the world-famous 3rd Street Promenade. - Ocean Boulevard and the Pacific Coastline:
The final stretch of the ride along Ocean Boulevard was nothing short of magical. Participants were treated to stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, with the silhouette of the Santa Monica coastline creating an unforgettable backdrop.
A Musical Interlude at Tongva Park
One of the highlights of the ride was the main break at Tongva Park in Santa Monica. Participants were treated to live entertainment by the Drum Healers, an African drum circle that captivated the crowd for over an hour. The rhythmic beats and vibrant energy of the performance brought everyone together, creating a sense of harmony and celebration that perfectly complemented the ride’s atmosphere.
Perfect Weather and Positive Energy
The July 2025 ride was blessed with perfect summer weather, making the experience even more enjoyable. The high-energy atmosphere was contagious as thousands of participants rode together, lighting up the night with joy, camaraderie, and a shared love for cycling and community.
A Global Attraction
Los Angeles Critical Mass rides have become a global phenomenon, attracting participants from all walks of life and even international visitors. This month’s ride was no exception, as the 3rd Street Promenade and Santa Monica coastline drew attention from tourists and locals alike.
