Los Angeles Critical Mass: Exciting Summer Rides Ahead!

As summer approaches, the Los Angeles Critical Mass community is gearing up for an exhilarating season of cycling adventures! We’re thrilled to announce a lineup of exciting rides that will take us through some of the most vibrant and scenic areas of Los Angeles and surrounding cities. Get ready to explore new neighborhoods, enjoy live music, and connect with fellow cyclists!

New Routes and Destinations

This summer, we’re expanding our horizons by venturing into areas we’ve never explored before. Our planned routes may include:

• San Fernando Valley: Experience the diverse landscapes and hidden gems of this iconic region.
• NELA/ Old Town Pasadena: Enjoy the historic charm and lively atmosphere as we pedal through this beautiful area.

In addition to these destinations, we’re excited to visit other neighborhoods that have yet to be part of our rides. Our typical ride distances range from 15 to 25 miles, but to reach some of these new locations, we may need to cover more ground.

Breaks and Refreshments

To keep everyone energized, we will be reinstating our traditional two breaks during the rides. Originally, we always had two breaks when we started Los Angeles Critical Mass, but after the pandemic, we shifted to just one break. This summer, we’re excited to bring back the two breaks, allowing everyone to rest, hydrate, and socialize along the way.

Live Music and Entertainment

To enhance our rides and make them even more enjoyable, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be featuring live music bands during our mid-breaks and at the conclusion of some monthly rides. This is a wonderful opportunity to relax, unwind, and enjoy the sounds of local talent while connecting with fellow cyclists. Join us for great music and camaraderie!

Sponsor Booths and Community Engagement

We’re also looking to enhance some of our rides with sponsor booths, providing a platform for local businesses and organizations to showcase their offerings. This is a great chance for community engagement, and we encourage everyone to check out what our sponsors have to offer!
