No, L.A. Critical Mass is not a race! It’s a community event focused on celebrating cycling and promoting safe, enjoyable rides for everyone. With thousands of participants at each monthly event, we ride at a slow to moderate pace and always loop back to our starting point.
However, in the future, we will be introducing competitive cycling events aligned with L.A. Critical Mass, attracting participants from all over. Prizes will include cash, bikes, apparel, and accessories. The top 3 podium winners will take home trophies and lump sums of cash. We’ll keep you posted on this exciting development!
